Our trip through time takes children on a search for the secrets of the Middle Ages. A maximum of three of the following building blocks can be selected for a tour:
- A walk completely around the Speyer Cathedral enables our junior guests to discover romanesque architecture by means of an intriguing picture puzzle and selected experiences involving different senses.
- By climbing down into a mikva, young people encounter one of the special features of Jewish life in the Middle Ages.
- By taking on the roles of some of the craftspeople in the Middle Ages, participants gain impressions of life inside the city’s former fortifications.
- Once they have ascended the tower that is the Old City Gate, the children become engaged in an interesting treasure hunt involving (un)known structures of the City of Speyer.
