The newest technology is now behind these old walls! In the future, this possibility is to be expanded as a bookable offering for interested parties. Would you be interested in discovering the cathedral by smartphone, tablet or PC? Online Offerings Volunteers

Overview of the volunteer fair

We need your help! It is precisely during these times of coronavirus that solidarity is most important. Many of our volunteers are members of a high-risk group and can no longer practice their volunteering duties due to the need to practice self-protection. That is why not-for-profit organizations are desperately looking for support. Why not get active and help because we are only strong when we work together. All offerings may be found here.

Leisure

During times dominated by the coronavirus, the greater part of our everyday lives is spent at home. Work takes place in the home office, school is replaced by home-schooling and the living room is unceremoniously converted into a home gym. And if in spite of all that, the roof should one day figuratively fall down on your head, you shouldn’t miss out on some virtual leisure activities in the middle of all that #Weremainathome. Discover the numerous online offerings.

Children and families

Climbing at the Imperial Cathedral

Schools and daycare centers remain empty, sports centers and other leisure activities are closed for the time being and when visiting grandparents or friends, our children cannot participate — at least in person. So to avoid boredom, many facilities like the Youth Development of Speyer, the Historical Museum of the Palatinate, the Municipal Library, the Sports Association of Speyer and the Adult Education Center, have come up with creative online offerings for children and families.
